In short
This website sets no cookies. It uses no advertising networks and no scripts that follow you across other websites. We count visits without placing anything on your device to do so — details, and your right to object, are in the privacy policy.

What is actually stored
Instead of cookies we use your browser’s local storage. It never leaves your device — unlike a cookie it is not sent along with every request. There are at most four entries, and this is the complete list:
- designhf-archiv-consent — your decision on this notice, so we need not ask again on every visit. Holds the categories chosen, the date, and the version of this text. Necessary.
- designhf-archiv-clearance — which files you have already declassified in this session, so the clearance budget adds up. Deleted automatically when you close the tab. Necessary.
- designhf-archiv-lang — your choice of language (German, English or French). Only with your consent. Optional.
- designhf-archiv-no-measure — present only if you have objected to visit measurement in the privacy policy; records that objection so it applies on every further visit. Necessary.

Why there is a notice all the same
The first two entries are technically necessary to deliver exactly what you asked for. Swiss law requires no prior consent for these — but it does require transparency, which is what this list is.
The third is not necessary: remembering your language is convenient, nothing more. So we ask about that, and only that. The fourth exists only if you object to visit measurement; it is necessary for your objection to take effect. The measurement itself stores nothing on your device and is therefore not on this list. There is no “Statistics” consent switch, but there is a right to object — in the privacy policy.

Fonts and embedded content
All typefaces sit on our own server and are served from there. Your browser contacts no foreign network for them. We embed no external maps, video players, social buttons or chat widgets — every one of those would send data to a third party without you doing anything.
The two scripts for visit and load-time measurement are likewise served through this domain and report only to it.

Your control
You can change your choice at any time via the “Cookie settings” button in the footer of every page. Withdrawing consent deletes the affected entries immediately — it does not merely switch them off.
Independently of that, you can clear local storage at any time in your browser settings. The site keeps working afterwards; it simply no longer remembers your language — or any objection to visit measurement.

How long your decision lasts
Consent given expires automatically after twelve months and we ask again. If we change what the categories cover, the version of this text is raised — and we ask again then too, because agreement to an older text is not agreement to this one.
